Karachi Stock Exchange 100 Index crosses 7,700 level at weekend
KARACHI: Buying continued at Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) on Friday pushing the benchmark KSE-100 Index up by 29 points to close at 7, 715.
The stock market started upbeat and managed to remain in the positive zone throughout the session as investors continued to take positions in energy and cement stocks on the second consecutive day.
The market turnover was recorded at 190 million shares today.
DG Khan Cement remained the volume leader which gained paisas 90 to close at Rs34.97.
KSE-30 Index swelled by 31 points to finish the day at 8,289.
